What Prevents Us from Being Happy?

Chinese medicine has proven that there are a wide range of illnesses that stem from negative life problems or strong emotions. If you suffer with depression, it can affect your lungs. If you have an anger problems, it can harm your liver. People who are fearful may have kidney diseases at some point.
Being happy is a choice
Each day, we can choose to be angry, upset, nervous or worried. But we can also choose to be joyful and at peace. Each individual must make that choice for themselves. If we believe that outer forces will bring us joy or peace, then we will be disappointed.
It’s important to protect your energy flow. Don’t allow negative energy to invade your world. Find ways to be at peace within your own soul. For some, meditation will help. Find a quiet place and spend time meditating each day. Instead of looking for the bad in everything that happens, find something good to be happy about.
